The Moody Bakers win the Supply Chain Solutions Award in this years Food North West Ceremony. The accolade has been awarded to the Moody Baker Ltd for their work in setting up the Alston Moor Community Distribution Network, a scheme which sees their delivery van playing a wider role delivering products and raw ingredients into and out of Alston for businesses and community groups.

Moody Bakers win Cumbria Social Enterprise award.  here are the jusdges comments: The judges where very impressed by the coop model they work to and their ability to manage the demand on products, quality of food, tasks are  shared equally between colleagues. Their achievement in increasing turnover and planning for the future

Moody Bakers, even greener!  We are now running our new duel fuel van.  The van runs on LPG which is not only better for the environment but helps keep our fuel costs down.

We are pleased to inform our customers that the Moody Baker Ltd have reached the second round of the Waitrose Made In Britain awards.  This is a national competition to find the best of the UK's food produce. Well, its that time of year again!  The Moody Baker will once again be stopping production of our Leek and Stilton Pies in favour of our summer mediterranean tarts.  We always try to use in-season vegetables for our products so the Leek and Stiltons will be back when the leeks are back!
